Program Overview
This program is designed to provide structured, medically supervised hormone optimization for adult men who live in Kentucky. Care is individualized based on symptoms, medical history, and laboratory testing.
This program is available only to men who are physically located in, and legal residents of, the state of Kentucky.
Pricing
The program fee is $165 per month. This monthly fee is the same regardless of the selected treatment modality, with one exception noted below for combination therapy.
What the monthly fee includes
- Initial review of medical history and symptoms
- Review of recent outside laboratory results (if available)
- Baseline laboratory testing (if recent labs are not available)
- Repeat laboratory testing approximately every 6 months
- Ongoing physician supervision and medication adjustments as needed
Outside laboratory results dated within the past 90 days may be used in place of new baseline labs, provided they include the necessary hormone and safety markers.
Laboratory Testing
Laboratory testing is used to establish a baseline, guide treatment decisions, and monitor safety over time. At a minimum, testing generally includes:
- Total and free testosterone
- Luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
- Estradiol (sensitive assay)
- Complete blood count (CBC)
- Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP)
- Lipid panel
- Prostate-specific antigen (PSA), when appropriate
If you have completed comparable labs within the last 90 days, those results may be used to avoid repeating tests unnecessarily. Repeat testing is generally performed at approximately 6-month intervals, or as clinically indicated.
Treatment Options
Treatment is individualized. Several evidence-based options are available, and the choice depends on your goals, medical history, and fertility considerations. All options are prescribed and monitored by a physician.
1. Testosterone Therapy
Testosterone replacement therapy is intended for men with clearly low testosterone and symptoms consistent with deficiency. This approach provides exogenous testosterone to restore levels into an appropriate range. It is not typically used when fertility preservation is the primary goal.
2. Enclomiphene Therapy
Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator that can stimulate the body’s own production of testosterone by acting at the level of the hypothalamus and pituitary. This may be appropriate for men who prefer a non-replacement strategy and wish to encourage endogenous testosterone production.
3. Gonadorelin Therapy
Gonadorelin is a synthetic form of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It can be used to stimulate luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which in turn may support both testosterone production and testicular function. This option is often considered for men transitioning off prior testosterone therapy or for those who prefer a signaling-based approach.
4. Combination: Testosterone + Gonadorelin (Fertility-Focused)
For men who wish to use testosterone therapy while maintaining fertility potential, a combination of testosterone plus gonadorelin may be considered. The goal of this combination is to provide symptom relief and adequate testosterone levels while adding support to the hormonal signals involved in sperm production.
Because this regimen involves additional medication, there is an added cost of $25 per month on top of the standard program fee. The total in this case is $190 per month.
